Originally released in November 2020, “Music For Vending Machines 1” is a “gorgeous-sounding diversion, transporting and soothing the listener within its sonic world." - Michael Donaldson.

Reissued on CD for the first time, the album has been given an in depth audio remastering, as well as updated artwork & CD design, while still remaining true to the Kankyō Ongaku aesthetic of the original. Also included is the track “Vending Machine Chimes At Night,” Originally only featured on disc 2 of “Blue Sun Daydream.”

A miniaturized ambient experience, "Music For Vending Machines 1" explores the essence of four different environments, condensing them for an easy listening experience. Much like something purchased from a vending machine.

A limited run of 20 handmade CDs is being done for this release.
